James W. Adler, 71, Marshfield, died on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield with Rev. Eric Berns officiating. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield. The family will receive relatives and friends at Rembs Funeral Home on Thursday from 10:00 am until service time. Jim was born on July 11, 1941 in Marshfield to Anton and Kathryn (Schuster) Adler. He had been employed making fishing rods at St. Croix Corporation in Park Falls for 36 years until his retirement when he moved back to Marshfield. He was an avid "Packer Fan". He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Bernice (Robert) Fehrenbach, Lloyd (Margie) Adler, all of Marshfield, Patricia (Dale) Tremmel of Wisconsin Rapids, and Paul (Pat) Adler of Marshfield. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Grace Adler of Plymouth, MN and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Joan Adler and Beverly Fahey, a brother, Donald Adler, a brother-in-law, Kenneth Fahey and a niece, Kathy.
