Jacob (Jake) Tanner Navarro, age 25, of La Crosse and formerly of Marshfield, passed away peacefully at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, on Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Jacob Tanner Navarro was born on November 6, 1987 in Marshfield, Wisconsin, to Max and Paula (Vogel) Navarro. He graduated from Marshfield High School in 2006, and moved to La Crosse shortly thereafter where he worked for Inland Label and Marketing. In his free time Jacob was rarely without a project or plans, and he always had time to share his joy of life with those around him. His continual optimism and his passion to share his love for the outdoors, music and sports were reasons he brought so many friends and family together. He had a unique ability to easily build friendships and was often the bond that brought everyone together. His selfless spirit will continue to live on through his family, friends and his decision to give the gift of life to those in need. Jacob is survived by his father and mother, Max and Paula Navarro, his brothers Hunter and Jamie Navarro, his grandmothers Rhea Mae Vogel and Teresa Marsh, his aunts and uncles Ruth Vogel, Galen and Rhonda Hasenfang and their children Joshua, Rachelle and Carissa, Robert and Joyce Vogel and their children Andrew, Matthew and Erin, Frank Vogel, Jr., James and Patricia Hasenfang and their children Lucas, Jason and Ariel, Steve and Christine Tysver and their children Marah and Morgan, Rich and Kimberly Keenher and their children Sidney and Utah, Suellyn Murray and her children Brice and Michael, Robert and Belinda Reyes and family, Joe and Linda Sompolinsky and family, Maryann Leonard and family, Angel Hinojosa and family, Pedro Hinojosa and family, Jesse Navarro, and countless friends that were as close as family. He is preceded in death by is great grandparents Ed and Hazel Carl and Mary Vogel, his grandfathers Frank Vogel, Sr. and Jerry Wilczek, and his uncles James Vogel and James Murray. The Navarro family would like to thank all of Jacob's friends and extended family for their support. During this trying time, you have all helped bring comfort with your thoughts, prayers and acts of selflessness. They would also like to thank the staff at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center for their dedication to Jacob's needs and their patience, support and hospitality to all his family and friends. Visitation for Jacob will be held at Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield, WI on Saturday, August 10, 2013 (300 South Oak Avenue, Marshfield WI 54449).
