Irene C. Stelzer, 95 formerly of Junction City died on Monday morning, February 25, 2013 at the Portage County Health Care Center in Stevens Point. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30am Saturday, March 2, 2013 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Milladore with Fr. John Ofori-Domah officiating. Catherine Warnecke along with St. Wenceslaus Senior Choir will provide the music. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Rudolph with her grandchildren serving as pallbearers. Visitations will be from 4-7pm Friday, March 1, 2013 at the Martens / Rembs Funeral Home in Junction City and again on Saturday at the church from 9:30am until time of services. There will be a parish rosary service at 4pm Friday at the funeral home. Irene was born on October 17, 1917 in the town of Carson, Portage County to Matthew and Rose (Stelmachowski) Moscinski. She attended town of Carson schools. Prior to her marriage, she worked in Chicago and Wilmette, IL before returning to Junction City. She was married to Clarence "Red" C. Stelzer on July 3, 1948 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Junction City. He died on January 14, 2006. She enjoyed gardening, baking and quilting. She is survived by her children, Diane Stelzer of Junction City, Joyce (Michael) Sikora of Junction City; Janice (Richard) Stashek of Auburndale and a son-in-law Roger Duchow of Pardeeville; seven grandchildren, Bryant Duchow of Shawano, Garret Duchow of Dyersville, IA, Evan Duchow of Pardeeville, Megan and Sara Sikora of Junction City and Kyle and Eric Stashek of Auburndale. Irene is further survived by two sisters, Elizabeth Trzinski and Valeria Vermillion both of Stevens Point. Besides her parents and husband Clarence, she was preceded in death by her daughter Nancy Duchow, five brothers Phillip, Steve, William, Floyd and Edwin Moscinski; six sisters Tillie Mix, Harriet Szatko, Margaret Panko, Alice Smrz, Joan Knurek and Bernice Ugorek.
