Obituary

Ila E. Lamsargis, 75 formerly of Marshfield, died on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at her home in Cottage Grove, WI. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 23, 2015 at Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield with Fr. Jorge Miramontes, Pastor of St. Mary of the Nativity, Marshall, WI officiating. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield. Visitations will be on Thursday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Friday and from 10:00 am until service time at Rembs Funeral Home. Ila was born on October 11, 1940 in Irma, Wisconsin to Floyd and Mabel (Noyes) Taylor. She was a 1958 graduate of Pittsville High School. She married Martin Michalak in 1958 in Pittsville. They later divorced. She then married Charles "Chic" Lamsargis, Jr. on May 17, 1984 in Stephenville, Texas. He died on September 24, 2002. She worked at several places in Marshfield, including Walmart. She was also leader of Gr. K-6 religious education for Holy Family Parish in Marshall/Waterloo WI for the past few years. At the time of her death, she was also a resident manager for Glenwood Senior Living in Cottage Grove, WI. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, playing cards, puzzles, attending church activities, fishing, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her three children, Scott (Tara) Michalak of Marshall, WI, Karla (Kevin) Kapfhamer of DePere, and Dawn (Mike) Hagen of Green Bay and stepson, Charles "C.J." Lamsargis, III of Appleton. She is also survived by grandchildren, Karmen (Mike) Litton of AZ, Katlin (Jordan) Simm of ME, Kristin (Travis)Koske of Green Bay, Kody (fiance - Megan) Kapfhamer of Oshkosh, Kraig (Michelle) Kapfhamer of Prairie du Chien, Lauren Kochanowski of VA, Travis (Wendy) Kochanowski of Princeton, Tyler Hagen of Green Bay, Skyla and Taylor Michalak of Marshall, Emily (Jack Machesey) Michalak of Marshall, Autumn Michalak of NM, and Amber (Tyler) Wagner of NM, and 14 great grandchildren and 1 expected. She is further survived by brothers and sisters, David (Rose) Taylor of Spencer, Patrick "Buck" Taylor of Marshfield, Dennis Taylor of MN, Sharon (Bob) Rottscheit, Scott (Gay) Taylor, and Kathleen (Dick) Shepherd, all of Marshfield and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her brother Darryl Taylor. A memorial will be designated in her name at a later date. Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com
