Ida Ottelien, 95, Auburndale, died on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital, Palliative Care. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Rembs Funeral Home, with Rev. Samuel Martin officiating. Burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:30 am until service time at Rembs Funeral Home. Ida was born on December 3, 1917 in the Town of Day, Marathon County, to Fred and Frances (Bianchi) Carolfi. She was united in marriage to Albert Ottelien on September 1, 1941 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Town of Day. She and her husband farmed in the Town of Green Valley. Albert passed away on July 4, 1971. She is survived by 3 children, Sharon (Jerry) Kohel of Marshfield, Charlene Schug and Donald Ottelien, all of Auburndale. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Gerald Kohel, Jr., Judy (Steve) Hunt, Donna (Timothy) Olson, and Charlott Schug and 5 great grandchildren, Dylan, Ethan and Ashlyn Hunt, and Hannah and Emily Olson. She is further survived by a sister, Ann Jacoby of Racine and a brother, Ervin Carolfi of Wisconsin Rapids.
