Hilarian E. "Larry" Dreikosen, 79, Marshfield, died on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at House of the Dove Hospice Home, Marshfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 6, 2011 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Marshfield with Rev. Donald Meuret officiating. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Monday from 9:00 am until service time at Our Lady of Peace Church. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Hilarian was born on September 29, 1931 in Cassel, Wisconsin, to Norbert and Marcella (Lepak) Dreikosen. He attended St. Marys Parochial School, Marathon City, and was a graduate of Marathon High School. He married Isabelle M. Havlovick on July 3, 1950 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Marathon. Larry had been employed at GTE and later Verizon until his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Isabelle and by six sons and two daughters, Gerald (Kathy) Dreikosen of DePere, Hilarian (Sue) Dreikosen, Jr. of Mayhill, New Mexico, Edward (Sharla) Dreikosen of Stratford, Bruce Dreikosen of Marshfield, Michael (Judy) Dreikosen of Wausau, Andrew (Michelle) Dreikosen of Maineville, Ohio, Lisa (Jeff) Bauer of Marshfield, and Dawn (Michael) Raynes of San Antonio, Texas. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and seven sisters, LaVone Wielock, Mary Lou Klinkosh, Jean Mangold, Val Miller, Joyce Huhnstock, Sister Marcella Marie, and Rita Thompson. He was predeceased by his parents and four siblings.
