Obituary

Henry "Hank" S. Lehman, 80, Plover, formerly of Junction City, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Wisconsin Rapids Health Service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 18, 2021 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Junction City where visitation will be from 9:00 am until service time. Father Packi will officiate. The service will be live streamed at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes. Burial will follow at Runkel Cemetery in the Town of Eau Pleine, Portage County, where military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 485 – Rudolph and serving as pallbearers will be Chris Zarecki, Lee Lehman, Dan Lehman, Leonhard Wayerski, Richard Kuklinski, and Dale Altmann. Martens/Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Henry was born on April 7, 1941 in the Town of Carson to August and Regina (Nickelwicz) Lehman. He attended grade school at Oak Hill and graduated from PJ Jacobs High School in Stevens Point. Henry served in the United States Army National Guard for 6 years and was called up for the Berlin Crisis. He was united in marriage to Betty Borkenhagen on May 11, 1963 St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Mill Creek. Henry worked at Consolidated Papers for 13 years, as a farmer in Junction City for 25 years, and for Scaffidi in Stevens Point for 10 years. He was a faithful member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Junction City and later St. Bronislava in Plover. He was also a member of the American Legion in Milladore. Henry loved going to his grandchildren's events, traveling, and playing cards with his friends. He is survived by his wife, Betty, sons, Jeff (Karen) Lehman of Crandon and Dave (Phyllis) Lehman of Rudolph, grandchildren, Kendra, Ashley, Andrew, Ryan, Kyle, and Stacy (Karl), and great granddaughter, Ava. He is further survived by his brother, Louis (Frances) Lehman of Junction City, sister, Bernice Kuklinski of Hatley, and sister-in-law, Patricia Lehman of Stevens Point, and aunt, Ann Eder of Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Regina Wayerski, brother, Benedict Lehman, brothers-in-law, Richard Kuklinski and James Wayerski, and step-father, Thomas Klawikowski.
