Obituary

Helen T. Kronberger, 95, Marshfield, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at Marshfield Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at St. John's Catholic Church, Marshfield, with Rev. James Weighner officiating. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Helen was born on June 10, 1926 in Pine Valley, Clark County, Wisconsin, to Joseph and Nellie F. (Lazotte) Hartung and was a graduate of Neillsville High School. As a young lady, Helen assisted during World War II by returning to work the family farm. Shortly after the war she met and married Ivan D. Kronberger on October 2, 1948 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Neillsville. They settled in Marshfield, Wisconsin, where they raised their children. Helen was a strong woman of God, active with the Boy Scouts, volunteered at St. John's and St. Vincent DePaul. Besides occasionally working out of the home she was an avid gardener. She is survived by her children, Leonard Kronberger of Oak Park, MI, Mary (Brian) Teabo of Sacremento, CA, James Kronberger of Marshfield, WI, Linda (Kevin) Peterson of Columbia, MO, Jeff (Rita) Kronberger of Neillsville, Cheryl Skwierczynski of Stratford, and Cynthia (Roger) Kunze of Marshfield. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, Becky Dickinson of Ferndale, MI, Jessica Webster of Garden City, MI, Sarah Vruwink of Marshfield, WI, Alison Springer of Marshfield, Richard Kronberger of Stratford, WI, Kyle Kronberger of Ilwago, WA, Chris Skwierczynski of Stratford, WI, Matt Skwierczynski of Marshfield, WI, Adam Skwierczynski of Spencer, WI, Brian Teabo, Jr. of Wake Forest, NC, Zachary Reabo of Carmichael, CA, Ashley Gleason of Marquette, MI, Mike Kronberger of Aurora, CO and Ben Kronberger and four great grandchildren, Evelyn Dickinson of Ferndale, MI, Kira Kronberger of Ilwago, WA, Lucy Ann Gleason of Marquette, MI and Natalie Ann Springer of Marshfield, WI. She is further survived by a sister, Margaret Feckhelm of Chicago, IL. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Ivan on September 27, 2008, two children, John and Joseph Kronberger, a son-in-law, Edward Skwierczynski and two sisters, Catherine Klunt and Rose Langreck.
