Helen M. Kowieski, 77, Arpin, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Marshfield Medical Center. Helen was born on June 24, 1944 in Wisconsin Rapids, to Herbert and Agnes (Frodl) Ashbeck. She was a 1962 graduate of Auburndale High School and then attended nursing school in Milwaukee. In 1970 she married Roger Kowiewski and they divorced. Helen had been employed at Marshfield Telephone Company, Kickapoo Valley Cheese in Sherry and E-Z Out Store in Auburndale. She volunteered for 20 years at Marshfield Special Olympics where her son Brandon participated. She is survived by her sons, Kevin Kowieski and Brandon Kowieski, both of Arpin. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held in summer of 2022 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield.
