Helen A. Dums, 90, Marshfield, died on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Golden Living Center Three Oaks, Marshfield. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, March 13, 2015 at St. John's Catholic Church, Marshfield, with Rev. Samuel Martin officiating. The visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Rembs Funeral Home and on Friday from 9:30 am until service time at St. John's Catholic Church. Helen was born on March 23, 1924 in Marshfield, the daughter of Claude and Helen (Condon) Giles and was a graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. She married Robert H. Dums on July 10, 1948 at St. John's Catholic Church. Helen was a devoted wife and mother and a lifelong member of St. John's Catholic Church. She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren, traveling and bingo. She is survived by her husband, Bob and their children, Catherine (Ronald) Fait of Madison, Ronald Dums of Wausau, Thomas (Terry) Dums of Marshfield, Peggy (Dan) Potter of Sedona, AZ, Michael (Audrey) Dums of Woodbury, MN, Becky David of Sedona, AZ and Robert G. (Colette) Dums of Marshfield. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and another expected any day. She was predeceased by her parents, 2 sisters in infancy and 3 brothers. The family wishes to thank the staff of Three Oaks for their wonderful care during the past several years. The family will designate a memorial in Helen's name at a later date.
