Helen J. Cepress, 101, Auburndale, died on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Country View Assisted Living in Arpin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Auburndale, with Rev. Jesse Burish officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 am until service time at St. Mary's Church. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Helen was born on October 30, 1912 in Marshfield to Aloyus and Mary (Mund) Piltz. She was united in marriage to Carl M. Cepress on November 25, 1930 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Auburndale. He died on April 28, 1995. She and her husband farmed in Auburndale where she lived until 2001 until moving to the village of Auburndale. She resided at Country View Assisted living since 2008. Helen loved her family and especially enjoyed the children. She also enjoyed sewing, gardening and helping with 4-H. She was an active member of St. Mary's Parish Council of Catholic Women and volunteered at St. Vincent DePaul in Marshfield. She is survived by 3 sons, Carl Cepress of Vesper, Paul (Patricia) Cepress of Auburndale and Christopher (Diane) Cepress of Stratford. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents. Her husband, a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth "Betty" and Gerald Stoflet, a daughter-in-law, Rita Cepress, a great granddaughter, Kelly Dupee, a brother and 2 sisters.
