Harry W. Kuse, 89 of Marshfield died on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Ministry St. Joseph's Palliative Care Unit. Funeral services will be 11am Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Marshfield with Rev. Chris Schwanz officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Marshfield. Visitations will be from 4-8pm Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Rembs Funeral Home and again on Thursday at the church from 10am until time of service. Harry was born on May 17, 1922 in Auburndale to Richard and Louise (Buhrow) Kuse where he attended Sunshine School in rural Auburndale. He was united in marriage to Loretta E. Gebelein on August 25, 1956 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in the town of Day, Marathon County. Loretta died on December 20, 2000. He helped with the family farm then worked for Maurer Roofing. In 1956 he started with Roddis Plywood and retired from Weyerhaeuser Co in 1984. He enjoyed gardening, reading, spending time with his family, tinkering with his projects, storytelling and driving his John Deere Tractor. Harry is survived by his two sons, Randy (Christine) Kuse of Marshfield and Rick (Shelly) Kuse of Marshfield; granddaughter Nichol (finace Andrew Rost) Kuse of Oshkosh. He is further survived by his brothers and sisters, Mabel Leick of Stratford, Cora Carolfi of Stratford Alice Hanson of Hewitt and Marvin Kuse of Moline, IL. Besides his parents and wife Loretta, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua, his brothers Richard Kuse, Jr., Harold and Daniel Kuse; two sisters Gladys Schneider and Elizabeth Wiersig.
