Gregory A. Kopelke, age 64, of Wisconsin Rapids, peacefully passed away on January 25, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

A celebration of Greg's life will be held on February 10, 2024, at 2:00 pm at his home.

Greg was born on May 10, 1959, in Wisconsin Rapids. He was a graduate John Edwards High School. On September 7, 1991, he joyfully united in marriage with Donna Peaslee in Pittsville.

Greg's life was a tapestry of adventure, filled with a passion for turtle hunting and fishing. When able, he enjoyed the simple pleasures of beer and relaxation. His infectious laughter and good-natured teasing brought joy to everyone around him. He cherished his daughters, Kaitlyn Kopelke of Arpin, Kristine Kopelke of Wisconsin Rapids, and his son, Greg Kopelke of Wisconsin Rapids. His grandchildren, Carson and Landon Sarver, and Layne Kopelke, held a special place in his heart.

Greg's best friend, Les Furgason, shared a lifetime of adventures together.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Heartland Hospice and Greg's favorite hospice nurse, Ashley.
