Grace M. Weis, 103, Marshfield, died on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Golden Living Center, Three Oaks, Marshfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, July 18, 2016 at St. John's Catholic Church, with Rev. Daniel Sedlacek officiating. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Monday from 9:30 am until service time at St. John's Catholic Church. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Grace was born on April 15, 1913 in Milwaukee to William and Emma (Fisher) Mackowey. She was united in marriage to Andrew A. Weis on April 30, 1947 at Christ the King Catholic Church, Spencer. He died on November 8, 1984. Grace had been employed in domestic work before her marriage. She and her husband farmed until 1957 when they moved to Marshfield. She is survived by a sister, Lillian Harter of Wausau and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, and brothers, Arthur, Norman and Emil Mackowey, and sisters, Leona Lippert, Ellen Dietel and Doris Krause.
