Gertrude T. Schueller, 91, Marshfield, died on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Golden Living Center, Three Oaks, Marshfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Bakerville, with Rev. Sebastian Venni officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Rembs Funeral Home and on Thursday from 9:30 am until service time at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. A parish prayer service will be held at 4:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. Gertrude was born on September 11, 1921 in Almond, the daughter of Joseph and Frances (Skoine) Pionke. She was united in marriage to John Schueller, Sr. on June 28, 1939 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Bakerville. He died on June 12, 1999. Gertrude was employed as a waitress at Riveredge Country Club in Marshfield. She enjoyed gardening, canning and baking. She was famous for her homemade bran bread. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her children, Betty Stoflet of Kasson, MN, Donald (Jaclyn) Schueller of Marshfield, Ronald (Lori) Schueller of Marshfield, John (Bonnie) Schueller of Pittsville, and Linda (Everett) Donnerbauer of Marshfield and a daughter-in-law, Jacki Schueller of Marshfield. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She is further survived by 3 brothers, Hank Pionke of Menomonee Falls, Louie (Bev) Pionke of Sussex, and Dan (Mary) Pionke of Menomonee Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 daughters, Diane and Mary in infancy, 2 sons James and Larry, 2 sisters, Isabel Steeps and Helen Wojcik, 2 brothers, John and Bill Pionke and a son-in-law, Sherman Stoflet.
