Gertrude M. Becker, 90, Junction City, died on Monday, August 5, 2013 at Portage County Health Care Center. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, August 16, 2013 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Junction City, with Rev. John Ofori-Domah officiating. Gertrude was born on February 18, 1923 in Saxon, Wisconsin, to Joseph and Lisa (Anderson) Wiercinski. She married Donald J. Becker on April 22, 1943 in Saxon. He died on April 19, 2005. Gertrude had been employed at FS Co-op in Junction City, and Del Monte Corporation, Stevens Point. She also waitressed in Hurley and Portage, Wisconsin. She is survived by her children, Jim Becker of Lynn, MA, Judy (Jim) Mayek of Junction City and Janice (Fred) Brandl of Lynn, MA. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is further survived by a sister, Doris McGlinn of Saxon, WI. She was predeceased by her parents, a son, Joseph, 5 brothers, and 4 sisters. Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com
