Geraldine R. Schultz, 77, Pittsville, died on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital with family by her side. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at St. Joachim's Catholic Church, Pittsville. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery and grandsons, Jason Schultz, James Knutson, Jesse Schultz, Cody Schultz, Carl Schultz, and Earl Schultz will serve as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, and on Saturday from 9:00 am until service time at St. Joachim's Catholic Church. Geraldine was born on July 4, 1936 in Auburndale, the daughter of Carl and Helen (Offer) Singer. She was united in marriage to Harold C. Schultz on February 19, 1955 at St. Joachim's Catholic Church. He died on June 24, 1984. Geraldine had been employed at the Little Bear Café in Pittsville for many years. She was an active member of St. Joachim's Catholic Church, the Parish Council of Catholic Women of which she served as president, and the American Legion Auxiliary of Pittsville. She is survived by 7 children, Robert (Nancy) Schultz of Necedah, Susan (Rick) DuPee, Mary Arnold, Dale Schultz, Charles (Robin) Schultz, and David Schultz, all of Pittsville, and Julie (Jeff) Reigel of Schofield. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She is further survived by a brother and 4 sisters, Mildred Bump of Marshfield, Margaret (Joe) Norris of Savannah, IL, Helen (Roger) Peterson of Independence, MS, Norbert (Janet) Singer of Marshfield and Marie (Art) Koniecki of Vesper. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, twin sons, John and James, brothers, Charles and Anton Singer, a sister, Carol Schultz and a son-in-law, Dan Arnold.
