Gerald V. Reigel, 68, Marshfield, died unexpectedly on Saturday, February 8, 2014 in the emergency room of Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, February 12, 2013 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Bakerville, with Rev. Salvaraj officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends from 8:30 am until service time at Corpus Christi Church. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Gerald was born on January 5, 1946 in Marshfield to William and Marcella (Schmit) Reigel. As a young man he took over the operation of the family farm after the death of his father. He was united in marriage to Kristine L. Fisher in 1966 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Jerry liked his tractors, going out into the fields in the spring and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Kristine and their children, Jeff (Julie) Reigel, Andy (Kayla) Reigel and Ben (Stacy) Reigel and his good friend, Phil Barlow. He is also survived by grandchildren, DezArae, Jade, Isabella, Elise and Evan. He is further survived by his brothers and sisters, Lavern Reigel, Robert (Kathleen) Reigel, Clifford (Johnette) Reigel, Clara (Roger) Hartl, William (Pat) Reigel, Lyle (Victoria) Reigel, Carol (Edwin) Becker, Richard (Tessa) Reigel, Shirley (Clifford) Hirsch, and Jim (Diane) Reigel.
