Gerald R. Paasch, 89 of Marshfield died on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Golden Living Center Three Oaks in Marshfield. Private services will be private at Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield. Burial will be in Brooklawn Memory Garden Cemetery in the Town of Richfield, Wood County with military rites by the American Legion Post 54 of Marshfield. Gerald was born on June 30, 1926 in Berlin, WI to Hilbert and Lola (Zink) Paasch. He was united in marriage to Elizabeth H. Griebel on December 1, 1948 in Dubuque, IA. Gerald was a home builder with his dad before retiring from the Boson Company of Marshfield. He served in the United States Army during World War II from February 12, 1946 until his honorable discharge on May 19, 1947. He is survived by his wife Betty, children Dennis (Mary) Paasch of Mt. Ulla, NC, Darrell (Jean) Paasch, DuWayne Paasch and Dale (Vicki) Paasch all of Marshfield; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is further survived by his sister Edith Lauterbach of Marshfield. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter Grace Paasch and his brother-in-law Wayne Lauterbach.
