Gerald "Jerry" Altmann, age 92 passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Marshfield Health Services after recovering from Covid 19. The son of Joseph and Helen Altmann of Marshfield, Jerry attended St. John's Catholic School and graduated from Marshfield Senior High School. He married Marjorie in 1950 in Marshfield. He was proud to serve in the US Army and was a Korean War veteran. Jerry spent his whole life in Marshfield working as an electrician, a general contractor and building manager. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and summers on Lake DuBay with family and friends. Jerry is survived by his wife of 70 years, Marjorie of Marshfield, daughter Karen of Denver, and son Michael (Sandra) of Brighton, CO., a granddaughter, great grandchildren and brother James (Geraldine). He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Ronald, Joseph and Jack. A memorial service will be held at a later date due to Covid 19.
