Gerald C. Balicki, 67, Marshfield, died on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield. Gerald was born on March 25, 1945 in Cook County, Illinois, to Henry and Ann (Jurgielewiz) Balicki. He married Joyce E. Mellerud on April 11, 1979 in Wisconsin Rapids. Jerry had been employed at Trierweiler Road Construction for 30 years. He enjoyed buying, restoring and working on cars. He is survived by his wife Joyce and children, Tammy (Steve) Herrick, Lisa Starbuck, Mark Balicki, and Brian (Beckey) Balicki. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren. He is further survived by 2 brothers, Henry Balicki and Tom (Judy) Balicki and 3 sisters, Annette Balicki, Gloria (Clem) Ng and Josephine (Bob) Riciotti. He was preceded in death by his parents.
