George E. Breu, Sr. of Marshfield died on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen where he had lived for the past 6 years. Private committal services will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. George was born on January 29, 1932 in Auburndale to George and Helen (Raeder) Breu. He graduated from Auburndale High School then entered the the United State Air Force. He served from December 6, 1951 until his honorable discharge on December 5, 1955. George was united in marriage to Marcella J. Fuchs on August 30, 1960 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Hewitt. He was employed as a carpenter for Rollohome Corporation until its closing. He then was employed at Figi's until his retirement. George is survived by his wife Marcella, children Phillip, Eugene, George, Jr. and Marilyn Breu all of Marshfield. He is further survived by his brother Robert (Charlene) Breu of Hewitt, five sisters, Ardelle Vandehey of Marshfield, Kathleen (Victor) Dieringer of Marshfield, Mary Lois (Wallace) Linzmeier of Auburndale, Diane Breu and Berndette Breu both of State of Oregon.
