Genevieve L. Wroblewski, 82, Knowlton, died on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Colonial Center, Colby. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 4, 2014 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield where the family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 12:00 pm until service time. Burial will take place in Guardian Angel Cemetery at a later date. Genevieve was born on September 10, 1931 in Knowlton, the daughter of Paul and Lottie (Kawleski) Obremski. She married John Wroblewski on October 7, 1950 at St. Casimer Catholic Church, Stevens Point. He died on September 6, 1981. Genevieve was employed as a cook at the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point. She enjoyed crocheting and cross stitch. She is survived by her daughter, Marsha Sternweis of Marshfield and 2 grandsons, Ray and Mark Sternweis. She is also survived by a sister, Sophie Glencoe. She was predeceased by her parents, a daughter, Geraldine in infancy, and sisters, Mary Bielen, Helen Serafin and Regina Kurzynski and brothers, Stanley, John, Edward, Peter, and Henry Obermski.
