Genevieve P. "Jean" Wayerski, age 102, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2017 at The Lodge at Whispering Pines in Plover. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Junction City, where the visitation will be on from 10:00 am on Wednesday until service time. Rev. John Ofori-Domah will officiate and burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Martens / Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Jean was born in Plover, WI, the daughter of the late Adam and Katherine Skrzypkowski. She was married to Chester Wayerski, who preceded her in death in 2008. They farmed in Junction City prior to their retirement. She is survived by her children Nancy (Norbert) Raab, Arlene (Ronald) Mews and Donald (Karen) Wayerski. She is also survived by one sister, Delores Duda and one brother, Chet Skippy, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
