Gary L. Weber, 73, Marshfield, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 12:30 pm on Monday, April 9, 2018 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where a visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time. Chaplain Tina KoenigRay will officiate.
Gary was born on October 31, 1944 in Milwaukee, WI to Walter and Dorothy (Lowe) Weber and was a graduate of South Division High School, Milwaukee. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving from June 10, 1965 until his honorable discharge on May 23, 1967. He was united in marriage to Shirley Weinfurtner on July 10, 1971 at St. John's Catholic Church, Marshfield. He was employed at Milwaukee Railroad, Team Sporting Goods, and the Marshfield Waste Water Treatment plant.
He enjoyed photography, astronomy, fishing, hunting, and anything up north at the cabin.
Gary is survived by his wife, daughter, Jennifer Weber and grandson Gabriel Weber-LaFernier, both of Marshfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jack Weber, sister, Judy Czaplewski, and in-laws, Frank and Helen Weinfurtner.
Memorials can be made to Marshfield Medical Cancer Research or the Alzheimer's Research Foundation.
The family would like to thank Dr. Roderick Koehler, Dr. Shereif Rezkalla, Christine, Mariah, Tina and the rest of the staff at Ministry Home Health Care and Hospice for their excellent care.
