Frank S. Wilatoski, 91 of Marshfield died at his home on Thursday, September 6, 2012 . Funeral services will be 11am Monday, September 10, 2012 at the Rembs Funeral Home with Fr. Thomas Rudolph officiating. Entombment will be in Hillside Mausoleum, Marshfield. Military rites will be conducted at the funeral home by the American Legion Post # 54 of Marshfield. Visitations will be from 9am until time of the services on Monday at the Rembs Funeral Home. Frank was born on April 5, 1921 in Reading, PA to Francis and Sophia Kowalskowska where he attended school. Prior to his military service, Frank was united in marriage to Anna B. Linzmeier in Milwwaukee. He served in the United States Navy from September 4, 1942 until his honorable discharge on December 9, 1945 at Great Lakes Naval Base, Il. After his military service, he worked as a butcher at Kroger Foods in Reading, PA. He moved to Marshfield and began working for Roddis Plywood Co. and retired after 38 years as an inspector for Weyerhaeuser Company of Marshfield. Frank is survived by his wife Anna of 72 years of marriage, children Richard Wilatoski of Mosinee, Annetta (Jack) Palach of Stevens Point, Lori (Paul) Coaty of Marshfield, Steve Wilatoski of Marshfield and Thomas (Janet) Wilatoski of Marshfield; 11 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
