Francis C. "Frank" Skrenes, 60, of Neillsville, died Sunday, December 15th at his home.

He will be interred in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI. Military Honors at the cemetery will commence on Monday, January 13th at 11am. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 18th at the Pittsville Community Center from noon to 6pm.

Frank was born May 26, 1964 in Marshfield, WI to Henry Sr. and Marvel (Randles) Skrenes and was raised in the Pittsville area. He was a 1982 graduate of Pittsville High School. In 1983 he enlisted in the US Army earning the Army Service Ribbon and Army Achievement Medal. He trained as a Telecommunications Center Operator. He was discharged from the service in February 1986. Following his military service he started Axiom Stucco, was an EMT for the City of Pittsville, and also worked for Land O Lakes.

Frank will be remembered as a proud father and veteran.

He is survived by his children: Christopher R. and Cassini J. Skrenes; grandchildren Kaleb D. and Ryker L. Skrenes; and siblings: Henry Skrenes Jr., Sue Klobuchar, Cora Fuller, Roger Skrenes, David Skrenes, Richard LaRounge, and Stephan LaRounge.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
