Florence was born on April 17, 1927 to Charles & Louisa (Altman) Weinfurter in Blenker. She was one of 10 children and attended St. Kilian's Parochial School. On October 28th, 1948 she married the man who would be the love of her life for 65 years, Harvey Carl Krings, at St Kilian's Catholic Church, Blenker. During the early years, they lived In Milwaukee working at various businesses. After the first child was born they decided to move back to Central WI to be close to family and friends and take over the family farm in Blenker as they continued to raise their family of six. Florence was a devoted wife and mother… Helping on the farm whenever she could; working at different jobs; and keeping everyone happy and organized. She enjoyed playing cards (especially with the grandkids and great- grandkids); gardening; cooking; baking and taking trips with her brother-in-law Tuffy and sister-in-law Sandy and trips to the casinos. But most of all she just enjoyed life and being with her family. She was a wonderful mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family. Florence is survived by her husband, Harvey, one daughter, Susan (Randy) Seidl of Marshfield, and five sons, Dennis (Sue) Krings of Arpin, Donald (Cindy) Krings of Milladore, Gary (Norma) Krings of Nekoosa, David (Mary Jo) Krings of Arpin, Gregory (Brenda) Krings of WI Rapids; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by two sisters Regina Seavers of WI Rapids, Loretta Hahn of Pittsville, and brother-in-law, Don Hahn of Pittsville. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Fritz and Irvin Weinfurter and five sisters, Rose Pongratz, Agnes Buchanan, Anna Hahn, Dorothy Hollar and Margaret Weinfurter.
