Florence Kramer, 84 formerly of Junction City died on Friday, April 24, 2015 at the Wellington Place in the Village of Whiting with her family at her side. Mass of Christian Burial will be 5pm Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Junction City with Fr. John OforiDomah officiating. Burial will be in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery in Milladore at a later date. Family will receive relatives and friends from 4pm until time of services on Tuesday at the church. Florence was born on October 15, 1930 in Milwaukee to Philip and Lillian (Kowalewski) Melinski. She graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1948. Her senior picture caption was "Her Smile Says, Hello". She was united in marriage to Carl Kramer on September 3, 1949; he died on January 14, 2011. Her employment during her years was at Weber's, Montgomery Ward's and Sentry Insurance where she retired in 1991. During her lifetime she was a CCD teacher and Boy Scout Leader for her youngest sons groups. She really enjoyed the time with family and friends. She also enjoyed camping, fishing, bingo. playing cards, puzzles, dancing, Junction City picnic, watching birds, reading and life. Florence loved seeing her family's gardens, flowers and animals. She enjoyed watching her great grandsons' ballgames and was proud of them. She and Carl took trips to Florida and Arizona. Time spent with her pets "Peppy" and "Sparky" was heartwarming. Florence is survived by two daughters, one son, ten grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Family of the late Patricia Kramer; Kim (Bob), Jonothan, Daniel and Bobby Allen; Candy (Josh) Giordana; Kelly Obiola, Raquel, Kevyn and Navaya. Florence was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl, daughter Patty Kramer, son Chuck Kramer, grandson Michael Landwer and her brother Bob Melinski. The family wishes to give special thanks to the management and staff at The Wellington Place in Stevens Point for their care and attention to our mom.
