Kann
January 10, 1932 – August 19, 2025
Florence Kann, age 93, was welcomed by her Lord and Savior and joined her husband and son in heaven on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at House of the Dove, Marshfield.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, September 8, 2025, at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where a gathering for family and friends will be from 9:30 am until service time. A grandson, Kyle Kann will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Town of Eau Pleine, Marathon County.
Florence was born on January 10, 1932, in Marshfield, to Louis and Julia (Pankratz) Beck. She was united in marriage to Delferd F. Kann on July 1, 1952, and they were happily married for 70 years. Del passed away on April 16, 2023.
She is survived by her children, Jeff (Terry Ann Trickle) Kann of Seymour, WI, Perry (Denise) Kann of Stratford, and Laurie (Art) Young of Auburndale, and a daughter-in-law, Erin Waddell of Stratford. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Curtis (Amber) Kann, Kyle (Angie) Kann, Zachary (Shawna) Young, Dylan Young, Levi (Autumn) Young, and Emily (Brandon) Lapp, and nine great grandchildren, Elliot, Beckham, Emery, Caroline Young, Shane and Gabe Kann, and McKenzie and Grace Kann, Layton Lapp. She is further survived by a brother, Jim (Sally) Beck of Marshfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, David, three brothers and 11 sisters.
She enjoyed life and taking care of her family as a caring mother and grandmother. She was a talented crafter who also thoroughly enjoyed helping Del design and paint the bird houses he would build. She loved her time on the Eau Pleine flowage taking care of their yard and planting flowers. She also enjoyed her time on the water pontooning and getting together with the her flowage friends and special relatives dubbed the "six pack of cans".
Florence was very grateful for the friends she made and the care that she received at Aster Assisted Living of Marshfield. She appreciated all the events there that made her time more enjoyable.
