FleetaBelle Tippelt, 94, formerly of Marshfield, died on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Rennes Health and Rehab Center, Schofield, under the care of Aspirus Hospice.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
FleetaBelle was born on December 1, 1920 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, the daughter of Forrest and Julia (Russell) Rick. She was a graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. As a young lady she was employed at Post Cereals in Battle Creek, Michigan. She was united in marriage to Raymond F. Tippelt on October 16, 1941 at the Evangelical Free Church in Medford, Wisconsin. She assisted her husband in the business they owned known as Tip's Refrigeration for many years.
FleetaBelle was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, The Altar Guild, The American Legion Auxiliary, and volunteered as a Pink Lady at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. She also was an active volunteer with the Soup and Socks Program. She enjoyed square dancing, traveling, bowling, fishing and playing cards with friends.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Raetta "Tippi" (Tom) Christopher of Wausau and Rhonda (Tom) Swensen of Ringle. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, Chad (Ursa) Swensen and their children, Ally, Meryl and Kaitlyn; James Swensen (friend - Marissa) and J.T.; and Leslie Rae (Brad) Williams and their children Alex and Mitchell.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Ray on December 16, 1994 and a brother.
Memorials may be designated in her name to St. John Lutheran Church, E10723 County Road Z, Wausau, WI 54403, where she attended while living in the Wausau area.
