Ferne M. Hutter, 86 of Marshfield died on Friday afternoon on May 23, 2014 at her home.
Funeral services will be 11am Thursday, May 29, 2014 at the Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield with Pastor Mark A. Krueger officiating. Burial will be at a later time in Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield.
Family will receive relative and friends at Rembs Funeral Home from 10am until time of services on Thursday.
Ferne was born on July 22, 1927 in Pittsville to Ed and Vera (Wallace) Macha. She was united in marriage to Harold J. Hutter on August 3, 1946 and later divorced.
She had numerous jobs prior to her employment at Weyerhaeuser Company and retired after 30 years. After her retirement, she enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, go to the casino, cooking and baking cookies for the grandkids. She loved to spend holidays with family and friends who she like to play pranks on.
She is survived by her children Barbara Griebel of Marshfield, Walt Hutter of Phoenix, AZ, Nancy (Greg) Busscher of Marshfield, Marvin (Diane) Hutter of Neenah, twins Darlene Hutter and Eugene (Pam) Hutter both of Marshfield, second set of twins Eileen Brandt of Arpin and Elaine Granger of Bancroft; 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. She is further survived by two brothers Harold Macha of Louisiana and Richard (Rocki) Macha of Missouri; sister Mildred Kolhanek and a sister-in-law Emma Mach both of Pittsville.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Robert, brother Donald Macha, sister Hazel Nordman and her ex-husband Harold.
