You Are My Sunshine! Fay Marguerite Busche, 86 of Stratford (March Rapids) died Friday, November 15, 2013, at Golden Living Center, Three Oaks, surrounded by her loving family under the care of Asera Care Hospice. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, March Rapids, with Rev. Robert Romberg officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 4pm until 7pm on Monday and again on Tuesday from 10am until service time at the church. Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Fay was born on May 31, 1927 at home in Granton, Wisconsin, to Lewis Raymond and Maude Elizabeth (Murphy) Conaway. She grew up near Lindsey at the base of Cary Bluff and attended Progress School. She married Norman Edward Busche of March Rapids on August 31, 1946 at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Marshfield. He died on September 27, 2012. Fay was a homemaker her entire life. She was known as the neighborhood mom, beautician, and confidant. Keeping her home garden bountiful and free of weeds was her own labor of love and produced canned goods lasting throughout the year. Her hands created countless items she patiently and skillfully knitted and crocheted. She enjoyed playing pinochle, yahtzee and cribbage with friends and relatives. Everyone around her was treated to her contagious laughter. Most of all, Fay loved her husband and family. She is survived by her children, Duane Busche, Danny (Peggy) Busche of Stratford and Bonnie (Mike) Meyers of Marshfield. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jessica (Chris) Kuhn, Waupun, Melissa (Jerry) Straley, Mosinee, Justin Meyers, Marshfield, and Elizabeth (Will) Garton, Spencer. She is further survived by 9 great grandchildren, a special niece and nephew, Barbara and John Bandow, Stratford and a brother-in-law, Myron Busche of Wausau. Fay was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Norman, and her sister, Ilene Ableiter. The family wishes to thank the staff (and her many new friends) at Three Oaks Golden Living Center and Asera Care Hospice. Sleep tight! Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com
