Evan A. Helke, 8, Junction City, passed away peacefully with family at his side on Monday, March 27, 2023 at Marshfield Medical Center.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a date to be determined.

Evan was born on September 28, 2014, in Marshfield. He was always a happy boy and loved being around people. In his short life he touched the lives of many people. He truly made a difference in the lives of everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his parents Samantha Phillips and Jacob Hyde. He is also survived by sisters, Madalyn and Kaylin, maternal grandparents, April White and Alan Phillips and paternal grandparents, Stephanie and Steve Hyde. He is further survived by aunts and uncles, Kayla Robinson, Shawna Feist, Jessica Hyde, David Haderlein, and Jayson Quinlan and numerous cousins.
