Ernie Kummer of Monroe, IA and husband of Darla Daul - Kummer, died suddenly at the age of 60, September 6, 2017. Ernie will be forever remembered by his surviving daughter Danielle Daul - Richter, mother Annette Thomsen, bothers Kenneth and Cory Kummer and sister Tina Beach. He was a truck driver for over 35 years and enjoyed playing on his pool league, golfing, bowling and watching professional football, baseball and hockey. Ernie had a very kind heart and great sense of humor and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A burial service will be held in memory of Ernie on Monday, September 18, at 2:00 p.m., at St Andrews Cemetery in Rozellville, Wisconsin. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Jasper County Animal Rescue at 5411 Liberty Ave, Newton, IA 50208, where his and his wife's beloved cat Opal resides and available for adoption.
