Elsie M. Anderson, 97, Marshfield, died on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Wells Nature View on East 21st Street, Marshfield. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 22, 2012 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Marshfield, with Rev. Donn Radde officiating. Burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Friday from 9:00 am until service time at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Marshfield. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Elsie was born on August 4, 1914 in the Town of Richfield, the daughter of John and Eva (Bey) Klumb. She was a 1933 graduate of McKinley High School. She and Harold Meyer were united in marriage on May 25, 1934. He died on March 29, 1963. She later married Robert Anderson on September 14, 1978. He died on June 2, 1997. During her life Elsie lived in York, PA, later in Waukesha and then Pittsville where she and Harold were co-owners of a Gamble agency. She became a Sears employee in 1952 where she managed the mail order department. She belonged to the Central Wisconsin Camping Club, Forum 55+, and Partners of St. Joseph 's Hospital for which she was a volunteer since 1981. She also was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and its Women's Guild. She is survived by a daughter, Pat (Norm) Erickson of Hayward and a son, Don (Jane) Anderson of Marshfield. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, and six nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, a son, John Meyer, a daughter, Judith Fox, a granddaughter Lynn, a grandson, Jeff, a great grandson, Gene and a sister, Lila Strack.
