Eleanor A. Stoflet, 96 formerly of Marshfield died on Monday morning, April 23, 2012 at the Alden Estates of Countryside in Jefferson, WI. Committal services will be 1:30 pm, Friday, April 27, 2012 at Brooklawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in the town of Richfield, Wood County, WI. Fr Jim Logan will officiate at the committal service. Family will gather at the cemetery on Friday at 1:00 pm. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Eleanor was born on August 31, 1915 in the township of Fremont, Clark County to John and Gertrude (Martens) Tuchscher. She graduated from McKinley High School in 1933. On April 26, 1938, she was united in marriage to Donald V. Stoflet at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Marshfield. His death date was August 25, 1981. After their marriage, they moved from Arpin to Marshfield. Eleanor went to visit her daughter, Donna in Jefferson, WI in December 2011 and fell and was admitted to Alden Estates in Jefferson. She is survived by her daughter Donna Becht of Jefferson, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren along with a daughter-in-law Carol Berndt of Merrill, sister-in-law Loretta Tuchscher of Marshfield and nieces and nephews. She is further survived by her special friends, Rick, Dan and John Umhoefer. Besides her parents and husband Donald, she was preceded in death by a daughter Marjorie Weidman, son Terry Stoflet, one sister and one brother. Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com
