Elaine K. Dix, 67, Marshfield, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Marshfield Medical Center. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at Hillside Cemetery. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Elaine was born on August 10, 1953 in Marshfield to Charles and Ruth (Reek) Dix. She graduated from Columbus High School in 1972. She worked at Ron's Chuck Wagon and then at the Hot Bar at Festival Foods. She is survived by her siblings, Juleen (Jim) Pankratz of Auburndale, Karen (Dwayne) Montgomery of Appleton, Charles (Dennise) Dix of Florida, Peggy (Robert) Kopf of Marshfield, and Doug (Janeanne) Dix of Marshfield, and daughter Rebecca (Jesse) Darrow. She is further survived by a special niece, Kelly (Luke) Hains, and their children, Damyon and Lizzie, and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial may be designated in Elaine's name to the Hannah Center or Cattails Cottage. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Marshfield Medical Center staff in the ER, Palliative Care Unit, 7 North, and the ICU for the excellent care.
