Elaine Florence Daul, 87, Stratford, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, early on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at her home in the Town of Cleveland, Marathon County. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Rozellville. Rev. Sengole Vethamanickam will officiate and music will be provided by Paul Drexler and St. Andrew's guitar group. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be grandsons, Jesse, Jacob and Lucas Daul, Chad Malnory, Nicholas Menzner and Jeffrey Laessig. The visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:00 am until service time at St. Andrew's Church. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Elaine was born on June 24, 1928 in the Town of Green Valley, Marathon County, to Herman and Mary (Robl) Ottelein. She graduated from St. Andrew's Parochial School, Rozellville. She was united in marriage to Jerome W. Daul on July 30, 1952 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Rozellville. The Daul's celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in July of 2012. Elaine was a devoted housewife and mother and enjoyed making Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners for her family. She is survived by her husband, Jerome and their children, Allen (Marilyn) Daul of Stratford, Gary (Debra) Daul of Wausau, Charles (Mary) Daul of Mondovi, Mary (Dave) Malnory of Omro, Judy Daul of Rochester, MN, Jean (Steve) Menzner of Hayward, Linda (Ken) Laessig of Stratford, Thomas (Sara) Daul of New Richmond, Karen (Mike) Blaszkowski of Marshfield, Donna (Jeff) Aschebrock of Stratford, Nancy (Steve) Frodl of Stratford, Carol (Mohamed) Elhindi of Winona, MN, Dennis (Nicole) Daul of Stratford, and Lisa (Paul) Zoromski of Mosinee. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She is further survived by sisters-in-law, Luella Ottelein, Patty Ottelein, and June Ottelein. She was predeceased by her parents, 4 grandchildren, Eric Daul, Mathew and Alex Menzner, and Beth Ann Daul, a great granddaughter, Millie Daul, a granddaughter-in-law, Jenny Daul, brothers, Ervin, Clarence and Ronald Ottelein and sisters, Lorraine Serchen and Catherine Ottelein.
