Obituary

Eileen F. Rogers, 84, (Marshfield), passed away on Sunday, November 7th, 2021, at her home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Sacred Heart Church where a visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time. The family kindly asks that those attending wear a face mask and they will be provided. Reverend Keith Kitzhaber will officiate. Private burial will be at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Eileen F. Kraemer was born January 27, 1937, in the Town of Medford, to the late Henry Joseph "Joe" and Mary C. (Foremski) Kraemer Sr. She attended Frey School in the Town of Browning and was a 1954 graduate of Medford High School. On April 28, 1956, she was united in marriage, to James O. Rogers. He preceded her in death, on May 23rd, 2018. After their marriage, they lived in Milwaukee, from 1956 to 1961, when they moved to the Marshfield area. Eileen was the bookkeeper for her husband's business, James O. Rogers Construction. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and the Parish Council of Catholic Women. She loved to cook and bake. No one ever went hungry, in the Rogers' house. She enjoyed music (could play the organ, piano, and accordion), playing cards, and dominoes. She loved spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Eileen is survived by her 5 sons - Michael Rogers in Marshfield, Donald (Marlene) Rogers in Marshfield, Steven Rogers in Marshfield, Thomas (Ann) Rogers in Eagle River, Daniel (Amy) Rogers in Marshfield; her 4 grandchildren - Rebecca (Nathaniel) Cox in Austin, TX, Kristin Rogers in Madison, Madelyn Rogers in La Crosse, Levi Rogers in Marshfield; and her 2 great grandchildren - Oliver and Sophia Cox in Austin, TX. She is further survived by Catherine Poehnelt (sister), Mary Ann Dassow (sister), Dorothy Kraemer (sister-in-law), JoAnn Fleischmann (sister-in-law), Edward Leader (brother-in-law) and his wife (Connie), and many nieces and nephews. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, James Rogers (husband), Agnes Leader (sister), Henry Kraemer (brother) and his wife (Loretta), Edward Kraemer (brother), Catherine Kraemer (sister-in-law), Tony Fleischmann (stepbrother), Betty Fleischmann (sister-in-law), William Poehnelt (brother-in-law), and Harold Dassow (brother-in-law). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Future Family Life Program of Sacred Heart Church. We would like to thank Dr. Ali Bseiso and the staff of the Marshfield Clinic, and St. Croix Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.
