Edward F. Hokamp, 84, Babcock, died on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Edgewater Nursing Home, Port Edwards.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, June 22, 2015 at Buchanan / Rembs Funeral Home, Pittsville where the visitation will be held on Monday from 11:00 am until service time. Military rites will be conducted at the funeral home by the American Legion Post 153 of Pittsvill, Following the service.
Edward was born on December 19, 1930 in Pittsville to Edward and Helen (Roshplock) Hokamp. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Okinawa during the Korean War. He was united in marriage to Judy E. Koepke on January 4, 1958 in DuBuque, IA.
Ed had been employed at Briggs and Stratton in Milwaukee for 34 years until his retirement. The Hokamp's then returned to the Pittsville area and he was employed at Ocean Spray in Babcock.
He enjoyed small engine repair, hobby farming and fishing.
Ed is survived by his wife, Judy and their children, Jeffrey Hokamp (Lisa Schmitt), Pamela Hokamp, Terry (Michael) Carow, and twin daughters Kelly (Michael) Wilding, and Kerri (Steve) Staedter. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren. He is further survived by a brother, Joseph (Marion) Hokamp and a sister, Helen (Walter) Kleifgen.
He was predeceased by his parents, a brother and 5 sisters.
Memorials may be designated in his name to Ministry Health Hospice.
