Edward David Brookhart, 85, Marshfield, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2020, at Marshfield Medical Center. A memorial will be held at later date. Buchanan/Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Edward was born on December 11, 1934 in Livonia, MO, to John and Grace (Stewart) Brookhart. He married Arlene M. Jacobs on January 21, 1956. Edward worked for Motor Castings in Milwaukee, Berg Equipment, Marawood and Wisconsin Homes, all in Marshfield until his retirement. He also farmed. Ed enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, playing cards and his family. He was a very devoted husband and father. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Arlene and seven children, Debra (Tim) Collins, Eugene (Lisa) Brookhart, John (Kathy) Brookhart, Robert (Shelly) Brookhart, Zelda (Jr.) Curtis, Michael Brookhart, and Kenneth (Sonya) Brookhart. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Ellison Brookhart (MO) a sister-in-law, Sarah (MO), a great granddaughter, Jessica, a niece and a nephew.
