DuWayne D. Davis, 55, Marshfield, died on Sunday, September 2, 2012 with his family by his side at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, as the result of a motorcycle accident. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 7, 2012 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Marshfield, with Rev. Chris Schwanz officiating. Burial will take place in Brooklawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, Town of Richfield, Wood County. Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Feirer, Clay Lange, Don Lange, Tom Feirer, Rory Melbinger and Joe Trierweiler. Honorary pallbearer will be Lowell Fromm. The visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Rembs Funeral Home, and on Friday from 10:00 am until service time at Immanuel Lutheran Church. DuWayne was born on April 6, 1957 in Marshfield, the son of Donald and Darlene (Karsten) Davis and was a 1975 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. He married Donna L. Trierweiler on September 30, 1978 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. DuWayne was employed at Karau's Supermarket and Marshfield Homes. In 1983 he and his wife started Davis Auto in Marshfield which they operated until the present time. DuWayne loved motorcycling, racing, camping, ATVing, snowmobiling, his grandkids and his dog, Emma. He is survived by his wife, Donna and their children, Katie (Jim) Sauter, Jr. of Tomah and their daughter, Addyson; and Kyle (Tania) Davis of Marshfield and their children, Desirae, Autumn and Kainan.
