Obituary

Douglas William "Scrubber" Stevens, 63, Marshfield, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully April 30, 2021 at Marshfield Hospital with family at his bedside. Doug was born May 23, 1957, along with his twin sister Kay in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Robert and Charlotte (Wargin) Stevens. He graduated in 1975 from Arrowhead High School, Hartland, Wisconsin. Enjoyed spending time with his family and enjoyed the outdoors, especially the time he spent at Rush Lake with Matt, family, and friends. He was a Distribution Coordinator at the Marshfield Harold for several years. Doug viewed the Marshfield area as "God's Country". His wit and sense of humor brought a smile and laugh to whomever was fortunate enough to be in his company. He lived life on his own terms. Survived by his wife Lori (Wittenberg), his daughters Callie, Tristin, and Katie. Stepdaughters Brooke, Katie, Courtney, and Jordan. Siblings included Kay (James) Denig, Pewaukee, Wisconsin and Matthew (Barbara Vick), Colgate, Wisconsin. Doug was also blessed with grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who loved him. Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Charlotte, and his brother Mark. Memorial Donations may be sent to Matthew Stevens, N95W29135 Fawn Court, Colgate, Wisconsin 53017. Their attention to Doug and his family were a blessing and one that will not be forgotten. A Private Memorial Service will be held. A Celebration of Life in his honor will be scheduled for a future date.
