Dorothy J. Vogel, 94, passed away with family at her side on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Three Oaks Health Services, Marshfield.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 14, 2022 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Whitelaw, WI, with Deacon Randy Jaeckels officiating. The visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield and from 10:00 am until service time on Monday at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Whitelaw. Burial will be in the parish cemetery immediatey following the service, and serving as pallbearers will be Melissa Guerra, Curt Vogel, Derek Vogel, Lyza Gonzalez, Dan Gell, Tenille Graf, Jordan Vogel and Ashley Spindler. Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, is assisting the family.

Dorothy was born on June 7, 1928 in Brillion, Wisconsin, the daughter of Robert and Lina (Ayotte) Geiger. She was united in marriage to Harold A. Vogel on September 2, 1952 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Brillion. He died on July 12, 1965.

Dorothy was a devoted mother of eight children and homemaker. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by her children, Jeanne (John) Guerra, Douglas (Cindy) Vogel, Diane (Peter) Hoffman, Joyce Gell, Daniel (Mari) Vogel, Harold (Jule) Vogel, Dawn (Jeff) Karl, and Donald (Tammy) Vogel. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren. She is further survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Margie Geiger, Delores (Wilburt) Burich, Viola Vogel and Jerome (Judy) Vogel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and brothers and sisters, Edward (Mary) Geiger, Earl (Verona) Geiger, Raymond Geiger, Virginia (Elroy) Boettcher and Irene (Walter) Ray, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert (Louise) Vogel, Joseph Vogel, James (Leona) Vogel, Arthur (Dorothy) Vogel, Irene (Lawrence) Fromholz, Angeline (Percy) Bump, Margaret (Norman) Manlick, Hilaria (Michael) Pankratz, and Florence (Leland) Leighty.
