Dorothy was born April 11, 1929 in Boaz, Wisconsin to William and Dolly (Simpson) Hustedt. In 1930 the family moved to Marshfield where she later graduated from the local high school in 1947. She married the late Willard A. "Willie" Niehaus August 1, 1949, at St. John's Catholic Church in Marshfield. He sadly died November 5, 2009 after over 60 years of marriage.
After Dorothy and Willie had retired, they pursued a shared love of travelling. She was a CCD Teacher at Our Lady of Peace, worked at the Senior Craft Shoppe, and was a Scout Leader for a time. She lived and loved and used her time well.
