Donovan P. Prince, 74, Marshfield, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Marshfield Medical Center.
A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Rembs Celebration Center, 250 S. Oak Ave, Marshfield. Burial will take place at Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner at a later date.
Don was born on May 16, 1951 in Bloomer to Kenneth and Sylvia (Bowe) Prince. He graduated from Bloomer High School in 1969.
Don joined the United States Navy in December 1970. He served as a Hospital Corpsman at the San Diego Naval Hospital; he was then selected for the Physician Assistant program at the Philadelphia Naval Hospital. After his service he joined a private practice in Cornell, WI. He then transitioned into sales and finished his career as a Sales Manager at Air Communications of Wisconsin Rapids.
On June 22, 1974, he was united in marriage to Cynthia Reppert in Royersford, Pennsylvania.
Don was outgoing, fun-loving, and enjoyed a good joke with friends and strangers alike. He was a devoted Pop-Pop who enjoyed every moment spent with his grandkids. Some of his favorite memories were vacations with his family, traveling with friends, and boating on the Mississippi river. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed his long-standing weekly golf outings with friends. He loved guitar, playing in several church worship teams and at many happy hours in Arizona where he and his wife Cindy spent their winters.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy; daughters, Jenna (Zach) Fahey of Evanston, IL, and Abby (Jared) Krasselt of Marshfield; and grandchildren, Clive Fahey, Kinley Krasselt, and Ivy Krasselt.
He is further survived by his sisters, Charlotte Davis, Joyce (Jim) Schmidt, and Paulette (Mark) Tomasovich; brothers, Randy Prince and Bruce Prince; and sister in law, Jeanette Prince.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Sylvia; brothers, Dan, Ken, and Bill Prince; and brother in law, Jerry Davis.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Palliative Care team and nurses at the Marshfield Medical Center.
