Donna L. Brody, 77 of Pittsville, died on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. A private memorial service will be held Saturday, August 16, 2013 at Veedum Moravian Church, Pittsville with Rev. Wanda Veldman officiating. Donna was born on February 20, 1937 in Wisconsin Rapids to Arthur and Lela (Irwin) Potts. She was united in marriage to Edward R. Brody on September 24, 1955 at Veedum Moravian Church, Pittsville. Donna had been employed as an advertising and display manager at JC Penney's in Wisconsin Rapids for 35 years. She was a very active member of Veedum Moravian Church. She and her husband were leaders of the building project for the new church building in 2001. Donna enjoyed gardening, especially roses, and travel. Her children were most important in her life. She is survived by her husband, Edward and their children, Guy (Kathy) Brody of Kissee Mills, Missouri, Jo-Lea (Jeff) Binger of Pittsville, Kyle (Virginia) Brody of Chippewa Falls and Lela (Nick Neubauer) Brody of Pewaukee. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She is further survived by a sister-in-law, Lois Potts. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Virgil Potts, 2 sisters-In-Law, Dawn Paulson and Marjean Brody. Memorials may be designated in her name to Veedum Moravian Church.
