Donna M. Breu, 78 of Marshfield died on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Ministry St. Claire's Hospital in Weston. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11am Thursday, April 16, 2015 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Hewitt with Fr. Jesse Burish officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with her grandsons as pallbearers. Visitations will be from 9am Thursday at the church until time of services. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Donna was born on March 31, 1937 in Marshfield to William and Pauline (Drexler) Schmidt. She was a 1955 graduate of Columbus High School and was united in marriage to Joseph F. Breu on May 30, 1956 at St. John's Catholic Church in Marshfield. Joseph died on September 27, 1999. She was a waitress for over 40 years at various restaurants in Marshfield. Donna enjoyed spending time with her close friend Terry Mack in Minocqua for the past 7 years. They liked going to the casino and traveling. She is survived by five sons, Joseph Breu, Jr. of Marshfield, Steve Breu of Auburndale, Dan (Lisa) Breu of Auburndale, Dave Breu of Marshfield and Tom Breu of Marshfield; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is further survived by two sisters Anna Foss and Mary Asplin both of Marshfield. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter Mary in infancy, son Ricky, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com
