Donald "Donny" G. Nechuta, 56 of Halder died on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital Emergency Room in Marshfield. Donny was born on March 24, 1958 to Joseph S. and Doralin (Akey) Nechuta. On October 17, 1998, he married his loving wife Valerie A. Schackelford, who survives. He is further survived by his son Brad Nechuta and his mother Doralin Nechuta; brothers and sisters, Danial (Pat) Nechuta, Randall (Yvonne) Nechuta, Pam (Randy) Voge, Vincent (Lori) Mechuta, Joseph (Michelle) Nechuta, Jr. and Arlene (Eric Lavin) Nechuta Framke; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Donny was an avid fisherman, enjoyed hunting and the entire outdoors. He loved to make people laugh and smile. He will be missed by all. Memorial gathering will be at the Eau Pleine County Park just south of Highway 153 begining at 10am Saturday, June 28th (shelter #19) and all family and friends are welcome.
